Why Pluggerz?

We are increasingly exposed to loud noise, causing hearing damage to increase, especially among young people. This can manifest itself in, for example, a squeak, hiss or hum in your ears. For over 2 million Dutch this is even noticeable on a daily basis.

Sound does not have to be extremely loud to have an impact: long-term exposure can be harmful starting at 80 dB. And at higher volumes, such as at a concert, that figure quickly rises.
At Pluggerz, we believe that you should be able to enjoy life and sound carefree. That is why we help you to protect your hearing properly, without compromising on the experience.

Universal or Custom-Fit
With hearing protection, you can choose from universal (Uni-Fit) or custom (Custom-Fit) earplugs. Which one suits you best depends on how often you use them and your personal preference for comfort, fit and sound experience.

Universal earplugs are suitable if you need occasional hearing protection. They can be used more than 100 times and come with a convenient storage case.

Custom-made earplugs are ideal if you use them regularly or for long periods of time, as well as if you are going for maximum comfort and the best possible sound experience. Thanks to the perfect fit, they are very comfortable and offer optimal protection. You can also put them together completely as you wish, choosing from a variety of materials and colors.

“Can’t we just turn it down a bit?”
A fair question. Ideally we would turn the volume down quite a bit. But people come to a concert/festival for the experience. “Music should be felt,” you often hear. This applies to those at the front as well as to those further back. It is not so easy to adjust the volume so that everyone has the same experience.

A hearing covenant has been in place since 2014: a maximum noise level of 103 dB (averaged over 15 minutes) is maintained at concerts and events. Even within this standard, prolonged exposure can be harmful to your hearing, so wearing earplugs is important.

Not only protection, but also comfort!
There are not only earplugs that protect your hearing, but also earplugs that provide extra comfort in everyday life. Think better sleep, more focus or comfortable travel, such as flying without earache.
